The student will obtain a compendium of knowledge that will place them in intermediate training in the use of Solidworks to understand, analyze and make designs related to the world of Engineering and Product Development.

Introduction

This course will place you at a high level of knowledge in the use of SOLIDWORKS for the design and development of Engineering concepts.

-This course is aimed at all those people who have basic notions of Solidworks and need to obtain high training in the techniques of creating parts, assemblies, advanced modeling, surfaces and file management in the Solidworks mechanical design software. -People interested in these topics.

The objective of this course is to take a tour of the tools necessary to tackle most Engineering and Industrial Design projects.

1. DESCENDING DESIGN ASSEMBLIES.
Top-down design modeling for assemblies. Adding operations in context. Propagation of changes. Breaking and blocking of operations. External References Report.

2. ASSEMBLY OPERATIONS.

3. EDITING ASSEMBLIES.

4. LARGE ASSEMBLIES.

5. MULTIBODY DESIGN TECHNIQUES.

6. SKETCHING WITH SPLINES.
Splines. Guys. Adding relationships to splines. Calculation of splines. Evaluation of the quality of the splines. Curvature in the splines. Style spline. Exercises.

7. INTRODUCTION TO SWEEPING.

EXERCISES.
At the end of each lesson, practical exercises will be provided to be carried out as a complement to the training and to be able to assimilate the concepts in the theoretical classes.

Methodology

Transfer of knowledge and support by the teacher for four weeks following the end of the last theoretical session.

The teaching center will provide the student with the necessary license to carry out the course.

Minimum software requirements:
• 3.3 GHz processor or later
• 16 Gb of RAM or higher
• Cards and certified controllers
• Solid state drives are recommended for optimal performance.
• It is advisable to have two monitors to carry out the course.
