MACHINING BY CHIP REMOVAL (Certificate of Professionalism)

With this course, once the course is finished, the attendees will be able to carry out their professional activity in the production department, dedicated to mechanical manufacturing, in entities of a mainly private nature, in companies of any size, both self-employed and third-party, independently of its legal form. He carries out his activity depending, where appropriate, functionally and/or hierarchically on a superior. You can have staff under your charge occasionally, seasonally or permanently. In the development of professional activity, the principles of universal accessibility are applied in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Introduction

For a correct production of products it is necessary to carry out machining processes by chip removal, controlling the products obtained and taking responsibility for the first level maintenance of machines and equipment, with criteria of quality, safety and respect for the environment.

Objectives

- Obtain the technical information required for manufacturing, interpreting the drawing of the part and the manufacturing drawing.

- Establish the machining process from the exploded views and technical specifications, ensuring the feasibility of machining.

- Select the tools and tools required for machining, depending on the type of part and the machining process.

- Determine the tools required to fasten parts and tools, ensuring feasibility, optimizing the process and meeting the established cost objectives.

- Assemble tools and systems for clamping the pieces in accordance with the established process and the applicable regulations for occupational risk prevention.

- Assemble the accessories or feeding devices of the machines, to proceed with machining by chip removal, depending on the manufacturing order and complying with the applicable regulations on occupational risk prevention and environmental protection.

- Carry out the computer numerical control (CNC) program to proceed with machining by chip removal, based on the order and manufacturing process.

- Carry out first-level maintenance of machining equipment and facilities by chip removal, according to the instruction manual, the applicable regulations for occupational risk prevention and environmental protection.

- Assemble the pieces on the tooling, using the established tools and tools, complying with the applicable regulations for occupational risk prevention and environmental protection.

- Machining with machine tools for chip removal or manufacturing lines, obtaining the required quality and complying with the applicable regulations for occupational risk prevention and environmental protection.

- Dimensionally verify the mechanized products, according to the established standards and procedures and complying with the applicable regulations for occupational risk prevention and environmental protection.

DETERMINE THE MACHINING PROCESSES BY CHIP REMOVAL (120 hours): 
- Interpretation of plans for machining.
- Tools for chip removal.
- Tools and auxiliary elements for machining manufacturing.
- Chip removal machining technology.
- Analysis of times and costs in machining operations.
- Preparation of machining costs.

PREPARING MACHINES AND SYSTEMS TO PROCEED WITH THE MACHINING BY CHIP REMOVAL (270 hours): 
- Verification of tools and tools in machining.
- Assembly of manufacturing systems for chip removal, tools and tools.
- Calibration of tools and tools for machining.
- Positioning and layout of parts for machining.
- Handling of materials in the manufacturing process.
- Chronological programming of CNC machining.
- Development of CNC programs for machining.
- Advanced CNC programming for machining.
- Computer or machine simulation of machining.
- Data transmission to the CNC machine.
- Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic automation.
- Installation of auxiliary processes for machining.
- Regulation of auxiliary operations for machining.
- Innovation and flexibility of auxiliary processes for machining.
- Basic concepts on safety and health at work.
- General risks and their prevention. Action in emergencies and evacuation.
- Prevention of specific risks in machining.

MACHINE THE PRODUCTS BY CHIP REMOVAL (210 hours): 
- Machine tools for machining.
- Auxiliary accessories of machine tools.
- Sharpening and adaptation of tools for machining.
- Maintenance of machines (oiling and levels).
- Basic programming functions with CNC.
- Use of computers at user level.
- Modes of operation in CNC machines.
- Introduction and modification of CNC programs.
- Corrective measures in the detection of errors.
- Records and reports.
- Metrology.
- Techniques for the verification of the mechanized product.
- Quality control of the mechanized product.
- Basic concepts on safety and health at work.
- General risks and their prevention. Action in emergencies and evacuation.
- Prevention of specific risks in machining.
