Introduction |
Corrugated cardboard packaging is the most widely used in all sectors and there are currently a large number of specifications to be met for all types of packaging, including corrugated cardboard.
Not only must current legislation be complied with to guarantee the safety of materials that are in contact with food, but it is also necessary to provide food safety to consumers when they use their products.

Technical Engineer in Industrial Design, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, with 20 years of experience in the development and evaluation of industrial packaging.
Head of the Merchandise Packaging and Distribution Section of AIDIMME, developing, among others, the following tasks:
- Projects to improve and optimize packaging systems.
- Evaluation and certification of packaging.
- Functional and fatigue analysis of products. |

Eva Martínez is a Doctor in Chemical Sciences from the University of Valencia. She is currently the Head of Cellulosic Materials Laboratory at AIDIMME, a technology center where she has developed her entire professional career, during which she has specialized in paper and cardboard and packaging. He writes articles in specialized magazines and leads both national and European projects. In addition, it regularly collaborates with companies to improve the competitiveness of their knowledge sectors. At the same time, it carries out training and standardization actions, belonging to various committees. She is a member of TAPPI, an association in which she is also part of its Research Committee and has been an expert evaluator of projects for the European Commission since 2000. |

Francisco Javier Mesado has a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Valencia. In 2007, he joined the Packaging and Distribution Section of AIDIMME, as a Technician of the Cellulosic Materials Laboratory, specializing in materials for packaging and packaging for the transport of goods. Since then he has participated in research projects at national and European level and has collaborated in training and advisory activities for companies.
