To be able to create complex shapes in the simplest way possible, and to improve and increase the catalog of tools that the students know in order to materialize the designs at a conceptual level, training them in the handling of a tool whose main characteristic consists of combining ease of use with the power of the tools that it puts at our disposal. In short, being able to generate three-dimensional designs that were previously not possible with other 3D design tools and create industrial design projects whose geometric complexity has no limits. |
Introduction |
Within the market for computer-aided design programs for industrial products, we find multiple alternatives. And each one provides us with a different type of approach to industrial product design. Rhinoceros allows us to easily turn all those designs at a conceptual level into reality, especially those based on the most complex shapes. In addition, in the latest versions we have the integration of the Grasshopper tool, which introduces generative design in a terribly easy way to use within Rhinoceros.

1. User interface and introduction to Rhinoceros.
2. I work with 3D space inside Rhinoceros.
3. Freehand modeling and parameter-based modeling with precision.
4. Modeling based on two-dimensional curves and shapes.
5. Generation of three-dimensional surfaces and shapes from two-dimensional curves.
6. Modeling from three-dimensional geometries.
7. Combination operations, and geometry modification.
8. Generative design with the Grasshopper plugin.
9. Generation of photorealistic representations.
