"INNOCOND" INNOCOND - DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS TO IMPROVE THERMAL INSULATION IN CONSTRUCTION DESCRIPTION The INNOCOND project aims to research and develop innovative renewable and recyclable materials, with high thermal insulation, high mechanical resistance and low density, intended for rehabilitation and construction (both traditional and bio-construction, passive construction and bioclimatic construction). OBJECTIVES The general objective of the project is to research and develop innovative renewable and recyclable materials, with high thermal insulation, high mechanical resistance and low density, intended for rehabilitation and construction (both traditional and bio-construction, passive construction and bioclimatic construction). To achieve the above general objective, the following specific objectives are proposed: • Analyze advanced insulation materials, recent or under development, and their possible use in construction and rehabilitation. The analysis will take into account its advantages, disadvantages and limitations. • Develop new materials for construction / rehabilitation that satisfy the following requirements: high mechanical resistance, high thermal insulation, low density, of sustainable origin and easily recyclable. • Propose from its conception possible direct applications of the materials developed to achieve buildings with almost zero energy consumption (nZEB). • Describe the target market for new materials. • Structurally and thermally characterize the materials developed, according to the CTE. • From the results obtained in the characterization, the developed materials will be improved and optimized. • Effectively disseminate the project and its results. • Transfer and promote the results to companies in the Valencian Community, choosing the most appropriate channels so that the transfer has the greatest possible impact. Deliverables:    Year 2022: Deliverable E3.5. Application guide for new materials to achieve almost zero consumption buildings. The document proposes and explains several possible uses for applying the materials developed in the INNOCOND project in construction in order to achieve buildings with almost zero energy consumption (EECN, or nZEB in English). The uses are exemplified with images. Specifically, the proposed uses are the following: a) Interior partition wall (interior partition); b) Interior façade covering; c) False ceiling for roofs and insulating panel for inclined roofs under tiles; d) Doors and windows; e) Interior parquet, exterior parquet and floor of covered terraces. Deliverables:    Year 2022: Technical Circular 3 of the project. The document explains the main results obtained in the last stage of the project: 1) Development of a new lignocellulosic material for innovative insulating and structural materials; 2) Development of prototypes of innovative insulating and structural materials; 3) Technical characterization of the innovative materials developed; 4) Guide to the application of new materials to achieve buildings with almost zero consumption (EENC). This report interactively describes the target customer segment with potential interest for the new insulating materials developed in the project.
