"GVA SISPATINT FUNDS" GVA BIO0 - SISPATINT - TESTING, CONFIGURATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PATINT SYSTEM, AND STUDY AND ANALYSIS OF BIOMATERIALS DESCRIPTION Within the AIDIMME Biomaterials R&D line, the SISPATINT project consists of different applied research activities to test, configure and improve the PATINT system, as well as activities for the study and analysis of biomaterials. The innovative PATINT system is a tool to preventively and automatically monitor wood in works of art, heritage buildings and new construction. This highly flexible and scalable system will be compatible with Smart Cities platforms. OBJECTIVES Test, configuration and improvement of a very low consumption wireless sensor to monitor wood in works of art and in heritage and new construction. Development of a communication protocol for the sensor data. Development, configuration and testing of a complete sensor network. Integration of the sensors in an ICT platform compatible with or adaptable to Smart Cities. Analyze and characterize wooden structures. Promote the rehabilitation of wooden structures and the use of wood in new construction. Contribute to the conversation of the abundant historical heritage of the Valencian Community. Study and analysis of biomaterials (ligno-cellulosic, composites, etc.). Promote the participation of the center and companies in European and international projects. Identification and analysis of the R&D lines of the center, through the analysis of information and participation in different committees, platforms and working groups. All tests for resistance to extreme conditions, measurement of wood humidity, resistance to vibrations and detection of termites have been satisfactory. The results obtained have allowed us to configure and improve the sensor prototype. On the other hand, the results of the electrical tests of the sensor have allowed it to be improved by reducing its overall consumption at rest, which was high, and eliminating the continuous enabling and disabling of the converter, which was a stress on the batteries and surely affected their useful life. . Finally, a communications protocol for sensor data has been developed, robust and flexible enough to be compatible with Smart City platforms.
