"GVA FUNDS - DIPPATINT" DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PATINT SYSTEMS AND STUDY AND ANALYSIS OF BIOMATERIALS. BIO0 BIOMATERIALS DESCRIPTION Within the AIDIMME Biomaterials line, the DIPPATINT project includes different applied research activities to design, develop and test a system (PATINT) with substantial improvements over current tools for preventive and automated monitoring of material degradation, specifically of wood and derived materials (microlaminated wood, plywood, particle board, fiberboard or MDF, glued laminated wood, etc.). OBJECTIVES Electronic design of an improved wireless sensor to monitor wood in works of art and heritage buildings. Implementation and programming of the sensor through its own algorithms, and integration of the sensors in an ICT platform compatible with or adapted to Smart Cities. Analyze and characterize wooden structures. Study and analysis of biomaterials (ligno-cellulosic, etc.). Promote the participation of the center and companies in European and international projects. Identification and analysis of the R&D lines of the center, through the analysis of information and participation in different committees, platforms and working groups.
