"CARQUIMA" CARQUIMA - INVESTIGATION OF PACKAGED PRODUCTS, THE PACKAGING THAT CONTAINS THEM AND THEIR PACKAGING SYSTEMS. PACKAGING SYSTEMS PCK0 DESCRIPTION With this project, the minimum use requirements for single-use pallets will be established, differentiating between flat support or 2-point shelf support and establishing a uniformly distributed load. An own methodology of initial pallet analysis will be established that will allow us to provide pallet manufacturers with a system to control the parameters of physical-mechanical resistance of their products and obtain a correlation tool between the results obtained and the construction characteristics of the pallets. OBJECTIVES The objective of the CARQUIMA project is the investigation and identification of design requirements for single-use wood pallets. With this project, pallet manufacturers in the Valencian community will be provided with a technical tool that allows them to establish the main construction requirements of the pallets according to the previously established use requirements.
