OBJECTIVES

Design of a predictive system of process control, whose function is to warn of the possibility of anomalies, from the capture of data in real time, its analysis and its modeling.
Promote the participation of the center and companies in European and international projects.
Identification and analysis of the R&D lines of the center, through the analysis of information and participation in different committees, platforms and working groups.

RESULTS OBTAINED

Year 2020: During the 2019 year, an analysis of the state of the art has been carried out, searching for references and similar experiences that have already been developed or are being implemented, consulting various sources. One of the conclusions drawn is that smart manufacturing must be considered considering human knowledge as an active part of the decision process, at the same level as the data extracted from the process.
Another of the tasks carried out has been the modeling of the varnishing process on a drawing line, with the aim of obtaining a theoretical and qualitative approach to evaluate which are the significant variables that have the greatest influence on the results.
Subsequently, two experiences have been developed in two collaborating companies. Both companies have varnishing lines in which a set of sensors are installed that are reading various process variables for several months, so there is a set of data (dataset) for each company. Analyzes of various types have been carried out with this data, applying a set of supervised and unsupervised algorithms. The purpose of this first analysis is to identify possible relationships between process variables and results, so that in a later phase the result could be controlled automatically, preventing its negative effect from appearing if this were the case.
