"19-20 CONTRADEFORMED" CONTRADEFORMED- EVALUATION AND REDUCTION OF DEFORMATIONS IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING PARTS THROUGH THE CONCEPT OF CONTRADEFORMED DESCRIPTION The main objective of the project is to determine the method or process that must be used to eliminate or mitigate the deformation that occurs in additive manufacturing processes considering the five variables that influence the process such as the design of the piece itself, the positioning and orientation in the machine, the strategies of energy contribution for the transformation of the materials, the use of materials with low tendency to deformation and the treatment terms that can be applied during the manufacture and that relieve tensions. This project will evaluate the possibility of counteracting the effect of deformations during the design process of the pieces, so that a model that corresponds to the counter-deformed is designed and manufactured. After the manufacturing of this counter-deformation, the piece will be subjected to the deformations that depend on the material, the technology and the geometry of the piece, obtaining the piece with the desired geometry without deformations. OBJECTIVES The general objective of the CONTRADEFORMED project is to determine the method or process that must be used to eliminate or mitigate the deformation that occurs in additive manufacturing processes. To achieve the main objective of the project, it is necessary to achieve the following specific objectives: 1.Identification and evaluation of the deformations of parts manufactured with different additive manufacturing technologies and with different materials. 2. Software evaluation capable of generating counter-deformed files. 3.Evaluation of the deformations after the manufacturing of the counter-deformation of the pieces. 4.Analysis of the most appropriate dimensional verification methods for additive manufacturing parts.
