"PTFE" SPANISH FOREST TECHNOLOGICAL PLATFORM-PTFE DESCRIPTION Establish the technological development lines necessary to consolidate the Spanish forestry sector as an organized, innovative and employment-creating sector, capable of improving economic and environmental performance, and to guide the sector towards more efficient and responsible production and consumption patterns. OBJECTIVES The specific objectives (SO) of the Spanish Forest Technology Platform are: SO1. STRUCTURATION Revitalize the Spanish Forest Technology Platform to develop joint strategies and update the analysis on the needs and opportunities in research and innovation in the sector and provide it with coherence, business orientation, social challenges and industrial leadership actions. OE2. MOBILIZATION of the Spanish forestry sector and related industries, connecting the entire value chain of the same in its different lines and promoting innovative partnerships, and the DYNAMIZATION of the same promoting its participation in R + D + I financing programs and favoring the achievement of economic returns, as well as other more intangible ones, fruit of the cooperation with companies and entities of other countries. SO3. DISSEMINATION AND COMMUNICATION. Increase the visibility and recognition of the value of the Spanish forestry sector and the Platform among its members and public administrations and Spanish society in general SO4. STRATEGIC INNOVATION AGENDA. Update the Spanish Research Strategic Agenda in the forestry field and its derivative industries, to coordinate the efforts of all the existing actors in said field, as well as for the Spanish and regional Public Administrations, and especially to be contemplated in the European Strategic Research Agenda, and its actions to support R & D & I, such as the H2020 and its 2018-2020 programs.
