OBJECTIVES The objectives of the project are: • Improvement of the design of seats intended for heavy public use by elderly people with bone, muscle, and joint problems through technical and population studies. • Study of the current state of furniture for this sector. • Improvement of the overall ergonomics of seating in nursing homes. • Minimum requirements to be met so that the furniture can be used in premises certified with quality marks related to health.
