"FEDER VOZIA" VOZIA - RESEARCH ON HMI INTERFACES FOR CONTROLLING MACHINE INFORMATION SYSTEMS USING NATURAL LANGUAGE AND GENERATIVE AI. DESCRIPTION VOZIA aims to develop and improve human-machine interaction systems that facilitate manual data capture from any manufacturing process. This type of research poses a significant challenge: improving the efficiency and accuracy of industrial operations, as it seeks to prevent the loss of information that typically occurs when there is a heavy reliance on human availability for data entry into process control information systems. OBJECTIVES The overall objective of the project is to research Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) for controlling machine information systems based on natural language interpretation and generative AI assistance, which facilitate manual data capture and provide users with assistance to improve the process in which they operate. This general objective is articulated through the following specific objectives: - Develop an information recording system using natural language (voice), which serves as input to a software system for process control and supervision. - Research and integrate a generative AI system into this new type of HMI interface, which offers process optimization proposals and assists in interaction with process control systems in industrial environments. - Carry out a pilot project in a relevant environment where an industrial setting is reproduced, allowing for the validation of the effectiveness and robustness of the developed system (application to an MES system).
