FGVA I400 - ROBOTIZATION FOR THE INDUSTRIALIZED MANUFACTURING OF PREFABRICATED MODULES IN CONSTRUCTION




DESCRIPTION

The ROBOPREFAB project's main objective is to automate the manufacturing process of prefabricated modules for the construction sector. To achieve this, it proposes the integration of robotic technologies and advanced automation systems (drives, sensors, machine vision, among others) to optimize time and reduce costs in large-scale projects.

Its objectives include analyzing the feasibility of using high-capacity robots in critical production tasks, studying and designing standardized modular elements suitable for efficient industrial production, and evaluating specialized handling systems for the assembly and installation of construction components.

The expected results include the identification of the most suitable modular elements for automation, the exploration of standardization possibilities using advanced technologies, and a theoretical study of the feasibility of applying this model to buildings such as hotels, hospitals, or offices.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the project are:
· Analysis of the implementation of high-capacity robots to automate critical tasks in the manufacturing of prefabricated modules for the construction sector.
Conduct a study of modular construction elements most suitable for automation within a standard construction environment. Design a factory-standardized product to produce complete, transportable modules, and study a plug-and-play concept on-site.
· Conduct an analysis of handling systems suitable for handling specific elements in the construction, assembly, and component installation sectors.

RESULTS OBTAINED

Año 2025:
• Se ha realizado un estudio de elementos constructivos modulares más adecuados para automatizar dentro de una construcción estándar.

• Se han estudiado las posibilidades de estandarización para la producción modular con tecnología robótica y automatización avanzada.

• Se ha confeccionado un estudio teórico de viabilidad del modelo en proyectos de construcción.
