"FEDER GREENLASER" FEDER GREENLASER-DEVELOPMENT OF PROCESS PARAMETERS IN PBF LB/M (GREEN LASER) WITH HIGHER GRANULOMETRY POWDERS IN PURE COPPER AND TITANIUM (TI6AL4V). DESCRIPTION The possibility of manufacturing copper parts with this technology has been hampered until recently by the high reflectivity that this material presents to the conventional infrared laser beam. The incorporation of a green laser into PBFLB/M processes is a recent development and is a promising alternative for copper, since reflectivity decreases substantially, thus generating the possibility of manufacturing copper parts with this technology. The GREENLASER project focuses on studying the feasibility of processing Copper in PBF-LB/M thanks to the better energy absorption offered by the green laser. This characteristic of the green laser opens the way to process materials that until now were not processed in PBF-LB/M, generating a world of opportunities in sectors such as the automotive, electrical and thermal sectors. It will also study the processability of Ti using this green laser technology, which is in high demand in sectors such as aviation and health, among others. The development of the demonstrators will serve as evidence to demonstrate the benefits of this technology and its potential applications. OBJECTIVES The main objectives of the project focus on: •Development of parameters for the manufacturing of fine geometries and solid elements using green laser in two different sizes of 99,95 pure copper powder. •Manufacture of industrial demonstrators in Cu with coarse powder and fine powder. •Development of parameters for the manufacturing of basic geometries using green laser in Ti6Al4V.
