"MADISON" MADISON - ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING, DIGITALIZATION AND SUSTAINABILITY DESCRIPTION MADISON is a consortium of excellence made up of four Red Cervera research centers that are leaders in Spain in the technological area of ​​Additive Manufacturing: AIDIMME, CEIT, LORTEK and CATEC. All of these centers have a department dedicated to metal AM, as well as other complementary lines. OBJECTIVES Thanks to the grouping of these 4 centers, the entire AM value chain can be covered, through a holistic conception of all its associated processes: from the manufacturing and characterization of metal powders (raw material); process development for new materials, process improvement of already processable materials (intermediate product); to the generation and validation of test methodologies for parts produced using these techniques for their implementation as a productive process on an industrial scale (finished product).
