"FGVA - EC0 ECSI" ECSI - CIRCULAR ECONOMY APPLIED TO WASTE TREATMENT DESCRIPTION During 2022, the aim is to promote the use of computer tools such as INSYLAY and SYMBINET that facilitate synergies between companies in the CV, as well as carrying out feasibility studies on them. The evaluation of the circularity of companies in the metal and wood sectors will also be promoted through the use of the CIRCULARIZA platform and the certification of their level of circularity, through the CIRCULATOOL brand. On the other hand, work will also be carried out on the study and update of the STM BREF (Best Available Techniques Reference Document on Surface Treatment Of Metals and Plastics), collaborating with the General Directorate of Quality and Environmental Assessment of the Ministry for the ecological transition. OBJECTIVES •Promote knowledge and assimilation of the concept of Industrial Symbiosis in the Valencian industry and identify sectoral needs and potential actions for the implementation of its solutions in C.Valenciana. •Promote circular economy actions among industrial companies, which will increase the sustainability of the industrial sector by valuing underutilized resources through industrial symbiosis as well as other circular economy tools. The STM BREF on Surface Treatment of Metals and Plastics will be taken as a reference. •Give support to the companies of the Valencian Community in the creation of industrial ecosystems based on industrial symbiosis, which facilitate the conversion of the current economic model, through the use of the tools: Insylay and Symbinet. •Promote the participation of the center and companies in European and international projects. •Identification and analysis of the center's R&D lines, through the analysis of information and participation in different committees, platforms and working groups. To this end, a series of improvements have also been made to the INSYLAY functionalities (platform management by associations, improvement of communication between companies and incorporation of an alert system). And it has been complemented with activities to disseminate the concepts of circular economy and industrial symbiosis in 19 technical conferences (with more than 360 attendees).
