"FGVA - I400 - DIGIBOT"

DIGIBOT DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL TWINS IN ROBOTIC OPERATIONS

DESCRIPTION

Integration of ICT applications in the supply chain.
Software development for information processing (interoperability), advanced automation, sensors and actuators.

OBJECTIVES

The objective of the project is the development of a methodology for programming robots through AI through the use of digital twins, for which it is intended to use reinforcement learning methods applied to a previously selected process.

Project Number: 22200005
Grant Agreement: IMAMCA/2022/2
Duration: From 01/01/2022 to 31/12/2022

Coordinated in AIDIMME by: SÁNCHEZ ASINS, JOSÉ LUIS
R&D Line: INDUSTRY 4.0

RESULTS OBTAINED

Year 2022: During 2022 the following results have been obtained:
The methodology for programming robots has been defined, integrating AI techniques for object identification.
Techniques for recognizing objects of any geometry and in any spatial arrangement, in a plane, have been evaluated using artificial intelligence.
Neural networks have been developed for the identification of objects through images, establishing their position and the angle of rotation of their symmetry axis.
A system has been developed to transfer spatial position-angle of rotation data to a robot, so that it can selectively pick up a specific object from a set of diverse elements.
Various effectors have been evaluated for gripping parts, to assess their use as a universal clamping system.
A specific clamping system has been designed, suitable for a set of given parts of disparate geometries.
