"FGVA - EC0 CIRWASTE" CIRWASTE - CIRCULAR ECONOMY APPLIED TO WASTE TREATMENT DESCRIPTION Design of proposals to evaluate the integration of the circular economy in the field of high-impact waste treatment such as electronic waste or metal-contaminated sludge. Project Number: 22100002 Grant Agreement: IMAMCC / 2021/1 Duration: From 01/01/2021 to 31/12/2021 Coordinated in AIDIMME by: GRIMA CARMENA,LAURA R&D Line: CIRCULAR ECONOMY RESULTS OBTAINED Year 2022: A study of the state of the art has been carried out both at the level of patents and scientific studies and a sustainable treatment methodology has been proposed based on it. Leaching tests have been carried out on ground electronic circuits using pickling residues with and without an electrochemical complement, giving rise to the leaching of the target metals. By adopting this recycling method, PCB waste and pickling wastewater can be used in an integrated manner, which is a key point for the overall sustainability of the approach based on circular economy principles.
