Introduction

In a constantly changing work environment, leadership and communication have become key competencies for business sustainability. More than 70% of organizational problems stem from poor communication, and many conflicts arise from ineffective leadership styles. The traditional metalworking and woodworking sector, with its well-established structures, needs to move towards more collaborative and human-centered ways of working. This course offers a practical and transformative approach, integrating coaching, NLP, and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, to equip managers and teams with tools that improve communication, reduce unhealthy competition, and promote more conscious and effective leadership.

Content

1. Leadership in action:
• What does it mean to lead today in traditional sectors.
• Differences between directing and accompanying.
• The role of CEOs and managers: leading by example.
• Shared vision exercise with LEGO® Serious Play®.
• Personal and collective action plan to put what has been learned into practice.

2. Effective communication:
• Active listening and empathy.
• Adapting the message to the interlocutor.
• NLP techniques applied to communication for conflict prevention.

Methodology

To explain the content of this workshop, we will use a 100% practical and experiential methodology, combining coaching, creative activities, LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, and communication techniques. It will be an invitation to experiment, reflect, and apply what you've learned to real-world situations in the industry, achieving deep and useful learning from the very first moment.

Mar Rubio is the creator of BOCAABAJO (www.bocaabajo.es), a project she launched in 2021 to support individuals and teams in their growth. After more than 15 years as a producer and project manager for corporate events, she discovered that her greatest passion was working with people.
She is certified as a team and individual coach by the ICC, where she is now part of the Spanish committee, and also as a facilitator in creative methodologies such as LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, Six Thinking Hats® and Bikablo®, tools that she incorporates into her workshops to promote innovation, play and new ways of thinking.
Those who know her highlight her approachability, dynamism, and honesty, qualities she conveys in the spaces she creates so that people can connect and develop.
