Content |
1. Introduction to metal Additive Manufacturing technologies: advantages and applications.
2. Powder bed fusion technologies: Electron Beam Melting (EBM). Technical explanation of the process and basic operating principles, materials and characteristics of the process and parts.
3. Powder bed fusion technology: Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). Technical explanation of the process and basic operating principles, materials and characteristics of the process and parts.
4. Practical session to understand both processes on-site: preparation of manufacturing trays and the machine, material loading, manufacturing process, extraction and post-processes for finishing the parts.
