Ecodesign promotes the manufacture of sustainable products and services that reduce environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle, from the conception of the product to its final disposal, including use and transportation of the product. |

Objectives |
General objective:
• Know what Ecodesign means and how to develop products according to its guidelines.
Specific objectives:
Provide workers with the keys to incorporating Ecodesign in their company through the following specific objectives:
• Understand from a general perspective, the concept of Ecodesign and the environmental impacts associated with the current consumption model.
• Know the main potential benefits associated with the Ecodesign methodology.
• Know the various alternatives for environmental product improvement applicable to products.
• Understand the need for environmental product assessment tools, the various typologies depending on the objective pursued and the resources available.
• Know the methodology of Life Cycle Analysis.
• Understand the classification of the different types of existing Ecolabels and the main characteristics of each of them.
• Understand the usefulness of Ecodesign as a competitive advantage, Life Cycle Analysis and Ecolabels in public procurement competitions.

She has been carrying out her activity at AIDIMME since 2005 in the field of environmental improvement of products and processes in the furniture sector through technical advice to companies and participates in various R + D + i projects. She is an expert in ecodesign and life cycle analysis and the study of best available techniques in the furniture sector.
