Introduction |
Knowing the mechanical properties of sheet metal materials and the basis of how they are obtained in the laboratory predetermines an optimal selection of the material and/or verifies compliance with the applicable regulations. Knowing the nomenclature of steels provides additional knowledge that makes the difference in terms of the use of the material, knowing the metallurgical basis of how the sheet metal has been formed due to its manufacturing process. |
