MACHINING BY CHIP REMOVAL (UC-1): HOW TO DETERMINE THE MACHINING PROCESSES BY CHIP REMOVAL

Services

Develop professional activity in the Production Department dedicated to Mechanical Manufacturing in companies, both self-employed and employed.

Introduction

For a correct production of products, it is necessary to carry out the machining processes by chip removal, controlling their quality and taking responsibility for the first level maintenance of machines and equipment, with criteria of quality, safety and respect for the environment.

This course corresponds to Competence Unit No. 1 of the Professional Certificate "Machining by Chip Removal".

Addressed to

Active workers and unemployed people from the Valencian Community interested in these issues.

Objectives

- Obtain the technical information required for manufacturing, interpreting the drawing of the part and the manufacturing drawing.

- Establish the machining process from the exploded views and technical specifications, ensuring the feasibility of machining.

- Select the tools and tools required for machining depending on the type of part and the machining process.

- Determine the tools required to fasten parts and tools, ensuring feasibility, optimizing the process and meeting the established cost objectives.

- Assemble tools and systems for clamping the pieces in accordance with the established process and the applicable PRL regulations.

- Assemble the accessories or feeding devices of the machines to proceed with the machining by chip removal according to the manufacturing order and complying with the applicable regulations on PRL and environmental protection.

- Carry out the computer numerical control (CNC) program to proceed to machining by chip removal from the order and manufacturing process.

- Carry out the first level maintenance of the machining equipment and installations by chip removal according to the instruction manual, the applicable PRL regulations and environmental protection.

- Assemble the pieces on the tooling using the established tools and tools, complying with the applicable PRL and Environmental protection regulations.

- Machining with machine tools for chip removal or manufacturing lines, obtaining the required quality and complying with applicable PRL and Environmental protection regulations.

- Dimensionally verify the mechanized products according to the established standards and procedures and complying with the applicable PRL and Environmental protection regulations.
