FREE TRAINING: TRAINING IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS.

Services

Companies will be able to identify the advantages that additive manufacturing technologies bring to them, obtaining products more adapted to their needs and their function, with a reduction in time to market.

Introduction

Additive Manufacturing technologies allow the manufacture of products with more complex geometries than those obtained through traditional manufacturing technologies. The main feature of these technologies is that the parts or products are manufactured by the successive selective addition of material, directly from a digital file with the geometry of the 3D CAD part. It is important that companies know the advantages that these technologies can bring to adapt, more quickly, to market changes.

Addressed to

- Aimed at technical office staff and personnel who perform technical tasks. - Companies and people interested in these issues in the Valencian Community.

Objectives

- Take a first contact with additive manufacturing, knowing the different techniques that exist to obtain polymeric and metallic parts, assimilating basic concepts that must be taken into account for their use within companies.

- To understand in greater detail the technologies for processing polymeric materials and understand the limitations of the same that will condition certain aspects in the development of the product.

- Understand in greater detail the technologies for processing metallic materials and understand the limitations of the same that will condition certain aspects in the development of the product.

- Know the general aspects and requirements that must be taken into account in order to carry out a product design or redesign. Success stories carried out in AIDIMME will be shown. Attendees will assimilate key aspects of product optimization to be manufactured with additive technologies.

- Learn the topological optimization methodology and observe the workflow to obtain an optimized part under defined loads and boundary conditions.

- Learn the methodology of optimization of geometries based on conventional CAD software. Understand basic concepts to propose a design / redesign that allows us to achieve a fabricable part and reduce its production costs.

- Control the aspects or characteristics that influence the economic valuation of a part manufactured with each of the technologies covered in the course.
