OBTAINING AND RENEWING THE OFFICIAL TITLE OF SECURITY ADVISOR

Preparation of the attendees to face the tests for obtaining the CE Certificate of aptitude for the professional practice of Security Advisor for the Transport of Dangerous Goods, as well as its renewal.

Introduction

RESOLUTION of October 18, 2021, of the General Directorate of Public Works, Transport and Sustainable Mobility, which calls for the holding of various tests aimed at obtaining or renewing certificates accrediting training in transport matters for the year 2022 .

–For the exam on 26.11.2022, the registration period will be from 01.10.2022 to 20.10.2022.

- Responsible technicians in the areas of quality, environment, logistics, occupational risk prevention or industrial safety who need to know the regulations applicable to the transport of dangerous goods and the requirements applicable to their activity. - Professionals interested in an approach to the transport of dangerous goods. - University graduates who want to specialize in issues related to industrial safety. - People interested in these issues.

Objectives

- Become familiar with the legal framework for dangerous goods, as well as their application to companies in different sectors.
- Understand the importance of documentary requirements and their integration in the records of the company's management system.
- Know the competences of the Security Adviser for the Transport of Dangerous Goods and his role in the company.
- Interpret the legal requirements derived from the application of the ADR and how they condition the packaging and labeling of raw materials, finished products and hazardous waste.
- Know the different modes of transport, vehicles, containers, cisterns and their approval for dangerous goods.

European Agreement on the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road ADR:
- Classification of dangerous goods.
- Containers, packaging and tanks.
- Conditions of transport, loading, unloading and handling.
- Transport: crew and vehicle equipment.
- Construction and approval of vehicles.

Documentation and records related to the management of dangerous goods:
- Procedures related to dangerous goods.
- Records relating to dangerous goods.

Security Advisors for the Transport of Dangerous Goods:
- The figure of the Security Advisor as a legal requirement.
- Obligations of the Security Adviser.

The practical content of the course is oriented towards the application of the theoretical knowledge acquired in relation to the ADR Regulation. For this, students are provided with all the necessary technical information so that they can carry out different activities during the course.
