Introduction |
The metal racking storage facilities allow palletized products to be stored at height. This type of storage exposes the worker to different risks that must be controlled.
The metal racks can be hit by the handling vehicles during the loading and unloading of the stored merchandise and this may in some cases cause the loads to collapse. For this reason, metal shelves are subject to Royal Decree 1215/1997 and must be periodically reviewed to ensure that their condition is adequate at all times. Thus, we will avoid accidents that in some cases could even compromise the lives of workers. |

Juan Del Agua Navarro is an Industrial Engineer, as well as a Doctor of Engineering and Industrial Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). For more than 10 years he has actively collaborated in training companies given by the AIDIMME technology center in the fields of production and logistics.
In the last 5 years he has been part of AIDIMME's team of warehouse inspectors, carrying out over the years inspections of shelves and warehouses in sectors as varied as: food, retail, manufacture of electrical components, or metalworking.
His empathy with the student and his versatility at a professional level allow him to adapt to the casuistry that the student demands to guarantee success in learning.
