In the era of digitization and company 4.0, companies in the Metalworking Sector of the Valencian Community have the need to have trained personnel for the production department and technical office, Faced with the detection of this need, through Labora / Servef, This line of training is created to respond to companies. |

Objectives |
Acquire knowledge for the use of Lean and quality management tools, process design and simulation, and data acquisition and treatment for optimization, productivity and efficiency improvement in product design and manufacturing.
- Use basic quality management and Lean tools to optimize processes and improve productivity.
- Apply basic tools for the design and simulation of machining processes to improve the product design and manufacturing process.
- Use basic tools for sensorization and analysis of existing data that allow the acquisition of process, use and application data, as well as their subsequent treatment to measure the efficiency of processes.

Module 1: Tools for improving productivity.
- Management by processes in companies in the metal sector
- Practical application of quality management systems (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001) and risk prevention (ISO 45001).
- Application of LEAN MANUFACTURING in companies:
o Implementation strategy
o Visual and metric
o Simulation #1 (Bach Production)
o Planning - with video (kanban)
o Calculate kanban (“SMEs”)
o Understand the status of production (day by hour)
or FIFO panels
or MRP (or ERP) in SMEs
o Demonstrate how to carry out an improvement pilot in a company.
- Other tools: 5S, SMEC, TPM, OEE...
o 5 S tools: combining efficiency and productivity through people.
o Tools to produce through continuous flow: VSM, TPM, POKA-YOKE, SMED, etc.
o Development of continuous improvement in all areas of the company: quality, environment, human resources, production.

Module 3: Tools for digitizing processes and data analysis.
3.1. DATA CAPTURE. INTRODUCTION TO THE SENSORIZATION OF MACHINERY AND PROCESSES
- Cyber-physical systems
- Models and characteristics of non-invasive sensors for sensing
- Practical applications for the sensing of machines and processes – arduino
- Wired and wireless communication systems
- Ethernet and communication protocols
3.2. DATA ANALYSIS.
-MES Software:
o How to prepare PLCs and SCADAs to provide information to MES systems
o Know the platforms for standardization of data and servers.
o Know the main parameters (KPIs) to monitor in factories to carry out good management of OEE, Manufacturing Orders, Maintenance, Quality, Stocks and Traceability, Operators, Costs, etc.
o Know the integration of MES systems with other systems

o Introductory concepts: "The 4 Vs" of Big Data, CRUD (Create, Read, Update & Delete).
o Related technologies: Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Tools for predictive analysis (Weka)...
