Introduction

Solidworks is 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) design software for modeling 3D parts and assemblies and 2D drawings. The software that offers a range of solutions to cover the aspects involved in the product development process. Its products offer the ability to create, design, simulate, manufacture, publish and manage the data of the design process.

The objective of this course is to teach you to use Solidworks mechanical design software to build parametric models of parts and assemblies, combining structural and weldment techniques in assembly design, and the method for making simple drawings of these assemblies.

Sergio Biot Fons is an expert in the engineering and product development sector. He has more than 25 years of experience participating in industrial product development teams in various leading companies in the industrial sector, manufacturing components for the automotive sector, railways, custom industrial facilities, consumer products and the retail sector.
Sergio is graduated in the branches of Engineering in Industrial Design and Mechanics. He also has horizontal design skills that add value to projects, such as brand equity work and market strategies.
