DISCOVER ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING / 3D PRINTING TECHNOLOGIES FOR EVERYONE

Benefits

Know the utilities of the most affordable 3D Printing technologies on the market.

Introduction

3D printing, formally called Additive Manufacturing, is increasingly present among the general population. More and more machines at affordable prices that allow their purchase even at a private level. But using them is not as simple as pressing a button. New technologies and equipment are emerging that allow obtaining higher quality parts, faster and with greater dimensional precision.

Addressed to

-General public interested in 3D Printing. -People interested in these issues.

Objectives

Attendees will learn about various economically affordable 3D Printing technologies based on cast yarn and resin technologies: scope, operation and news.

Contents

1. Introduction to economically affordable 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing technologies: characteristics, properties and main applications.
2. Material extrusion polymer fusion technologies: Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF). Technical explanation of the process and basic principles of operation, materials and technical characteristics of the parts.
3. Resin light-curing technology: Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Technical explanation of the process and basic principles of operation, materials and technical characteristics of the parts.
4. Practical session to understand both processes in situ from the preparation of manufacturing trays to the process itself and required post-processes.
