The Metrology and Calibration laboratory has two main lines of work:

DIMENSIONAL VERIFICATION OF PARTS

• Dimensional verification with Profile Projector.
• Dimensional verification with manual measuring equipment.
• Dimensional and geometric verification of parts with a three-coordinate measuring machine.

CALIBRATION OF MEASURING INSTRUMENTS

• In the dimensional area:
  • Vernier caliper calibration.
  • Calibration of external micrometers.
  • Calibration of straight and lever comparators.
  
  
• In other areas.
  • Calibration of Scales.
  • Calibration of indication in ovens, stoves and climate chambers.

The technical competence of the laboratory has been recognized by ENAC, being accredited according to the UNE-EN ISO 17.025:2017 standard – Accreditation No. 13/LE138 for the dimensional verification of parts with profile projector and manual measuring equipment, and with Accreditation No. 220/LC10.172 for the calibration of calipers and external micrometers, both in the laboratory and at the client's own facilities.

Finally, regarding the industrial sectors for which we work, the activity of the Metrology and Calibration Laboratory is completely cross-cutting.

The laboratory activity is completed with:

• Training for companies, both customized and open courses.
