The laboratory focuses its activities on the appraisal of wooden structures (old and new) based on on-site analysis and diagnosis using non-destructive techniques to contribute to the correct conservation and rehabilitation of these structures.

The analyses carried out are intended to assess these structures and provide interested parties with the necessary information (state of conservation, pathologies detected, structural classification, reinforcement and treatment recommendations, etc.) to be able to correctly undertake maintenance, rehabilitation or establishment work on wooden structures in accordance with current regulations.
