SELF-REPAIR OF MORTAR THROUGH MICROORGANISMS DESCRIPTION The objective of the project is to develop the knowledge to formulate a mortar or concrete capable of self-regeneration through the action of appropriate microorganisms, which gives rise to two benefits, the first, that self-repair is constant, no intervention is required. at the moment in which the crack is already observed, and the second is the fact that the treatment is biological in nature and does not give rise to waste, thus promoting bioconstruction and sustainable construction. Likewise, in this way, once the product has acquired stability in the market to have a competitive cost, a reduction in maintenance and repair costs would be achieved.
