"PTFOR 23-24"PTFOR: MOVING TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE  DESCRIPTIONPTFOR is the National Support Group of the European Forest Technology Platform and a member of the Circular Economy Interplatform Group and promotes the Strategic Research Agenda, developing a public-private collaboration strategy to promote the competitiveness of the forestry sector and its derived industries. OBJECTIVESContribute to increasing the competitiveness of the forestry sector and its derived industries (wood and furniture, paper, etc.), promoting dialogue between the different actors of the science, technology and business system, as well as public-private collaboration, actively participating in the definition of sectoral R&D&I priorities, both in Spain and Europe; promoting the training and incorporation into companies of human resources appropriate to their current and future needs in this area; promoting and manifesting the environmental, economic and social sustainability of the sector, for the benefit of society in general; all of this, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals promoted by the United Nations, the European Green Deal, the Spanish 2030 Agenda, etc.
