FACONS - RESEARCH OF AUTOMATED MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR

DESCRIPTION

Investigate the automation of productive processes in construction, introducing automatic systems so that the space where a work is going to be carried out really becomes a layout of interrelated and automatically communicated processes, previously analyzing aspects of efficiency and incidence in the impact environment to make them more sustainable.

OBJECTIVES

Investigation of the use of robotic technologies for the implementation of finishing elements, interacting with automatic printing systems of three-dimensional structures.

Integration of a robotic arm in a three-dimensional automated system for the construction of structural elements through additive manufacturing.
Development of the hybrid process control system.
Development of integrated printing processes for structural elements together with easily separable finishing elements.
Concept tests and system validation.

Project Number: 22200061
Grant Agreement: IMDEEA / 2022/62
Duration: From 01/06/2022 to 30/10/2023

Coordinated in AIDIMME by: MARIN MATEOS APARICIO, LUIS
R&D Line: INDUSTRY 4.0

RESULTS OBTAINED

Año 2023:

Deliverables:

Year 2023: The objective of the work carried out by AIDIMME in the FACONS project has been the integration of an auxiliary robot for the placement of hardware that improves the structural properties of the 3D printing of a construction. To this end, the following aspects have been developed and tested: Design and implementation of the communication protocol of the different elements of the construction system through the use of digital signals, design and implementation of the electronics necessary for the adaptation of the voltages of the digital signals. between the different subsystems, design and manufacture of different printing nozzles of the hopper, protection of the auxiliary robot to increase its IP protection level, design and manufacture of suitable grippers for the precise gripping and placement of the hardware on 3D printing of construction, and finally the environmental impact analysis that analyzes the improvements of the new system with respect to traditional construction.
