"PLASMA 18-19" PLASMA - DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGY DEMONSTRATION PLATFORMS FOR THE INTELLIGENT FACTORY DESCRIPTION The project consists of the design, development and application of demonstration cells of some of the technologies integrated in the standard 4.0 Industry model, which can be adopted in the short and medium term by the industrial companies of the Wood-Furniture and Metalworking sectors after the timely feasibility analysis specific to each company. OBJECTIVES The project's first objective is the design, development and use in a real environment of demonstration cells of some of the technologies integrated in the standard 4.0 Industry model, which could be adopted in the short and medium term by the industrial companies of the sectors Wood-Furniture and Metalworking, after the appropriate feasibility analysis for each company. An additional objective is to bring the 4.0 Industry closer to the companies in the indicated sectors, so that they can experiment and test with concrete examples some of the most relevant enabling technologies at the sector level, and their possibilities for mutual collaboration and connectivity. The following are specific objectives: 1- The design and development of two demonstration cells of the type "connect and work" (P&P), which can be mounted directly at the facilities of the companies concerned, so that they can assess first-hand the demonstrated technology and, after a period of determined demonstration (about four weeks), can observe the results achieved and evaluate the viability of its definitive implementation. o Real-time process monitoring. o Automation of operations. 2- The design and development of an Intelligent Manufacturing Platform, that is, a demonstration and experimentation environment aimed at industrial companies and technology providers, in which it will be possible to evaluate and interact with existing technologies framed in the 4.0 Industry, as well as with technologies that are in an advanced state of development (TRL7-TRL8). 3- The realization of demonstration pilots in the facilities of collaborating companies during the period of execution of the project, and the corresponding feasibility studies, using the P&P cells and the associated technologies. 4- The carrying out of at least 3 group demonstrations and 4 individual demonstrations in the Intelligent Manufacturing Platform, with interested companies that already collaborate or can collaborate in the future, as well as carry out the feasibility studies.
